About Me

Hello!

I’m Ella, I am a Devon-based artist and have been tattooing since 2015.

Inspiration for my tattoos is drawn from nature, art, textiles and embroidery. I’m interested in all things botanical & animal, magic & ritual, mythology & folk tales, death & spirituality, repetition of shape & pattern, devotional iconography, as well as Gothic, Pre-Raphaelite & Renaissance art.

I studied English Literature and Art History at university.

I do occasional freelance illustration work and print making, and have recently taken up ceramics. I love to paint, knit, read, learn about tarot, walk, forage and learn about plants. I also have a lifelong love of music, and play the piano.

I have a cat called Floki, he’s my absolute pride and joy!
